The English name is SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) leased line and the Chinese name is 数字专线.

(2) Product Definition:

SDH product is carried on SDH network, which provides multiple-speed transparent circuit transmission service enabled by synchronous multiplexing and other technologies.

(1) Basic functions:

SDH leased line can provide point-to-point, point-to-multi-point data, image and voice transmission service and can also be applied as data link for frame relay and Internet. Domestic long-distance private line circuits, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and international private line circuits are available for subscription according to customer needs.

(2) Product advantages:

1. Diverse network resources and standard terminal access interface.

2. Transparent transmission channel and high transmission speed.

3. Self-healing function of the network.

4. Relatively cheap price.

(1) Basic attributes:

The product mainly provides multiple-speed circuit transmission service (below 155Mb/s).

(2) Speeds:

2M, 34M, 155M

Network technology:

(1)  point to point:

Communication between two points. 

(2)  point to multi-point:

Communication between one point which serves as head point and other branch points. The head point is accessed to SDH network by means of 155M optical transceiver and other branch points occupy SDH network resources and are connected to the head point. This is point-to-multi-point networking.

(3)  point to network:

Services are enabled through SDH interconnection with 16900 network, FR network and etc.

Notes: port refers to the point where the central office installs, tests and adjusts the circuits at customer premises. Below is the calculation method:

1.      Point to point: New installation applicant needs to pay for both ends.

2.      Point to multi-point: New installation applicant needs to pay for both ends.

3.      Point to network: New installation applicant needs to pay for one end.

Notes: :

1. “Within each district” refers to circuits in urban area of Beijing or in the same suburban district or county of Beijing. 

2. “Between districts” means circuits between the urban area and a suburban district of Beijing or circuits between suburban districts of Beijing.

3. The monthly rental for domestic full-circuit consists of three parts: monthly rental for local within-district (between-districts) circuit, monthly rental for domestic circuit and monthly rental for local (the same as in Monthly Rental Table) circuit at the remote end.

4. temporary lease (shorter than one month) :

(1) One-off charges: processing fee, labor and material fee and adjustment charge are collected in accordance with long-term rent standards.

(2) Monthly rental of temporary lease (shorter than one month) is calculated on a daily basis. Lease time shorter than one day will be considered as one day. Daily rental is 10% of long-term monthly rental of private lines.

1. International full-circuit is calculated this way: local monthly rental + international half-circuit monthly rental + oversea-segment half-circuit monthly rental (this segment is subject to the quotation of oversea operators).
