2007-11-08

From the start of presale of 2008 Olympic Games till now the official website of 2008 Olympic Games has recorded over 18m visitors and over 80,000 orders. As the Olympic Games is drawing near, people are warming up and longing for watching the Games live. Capitalizing on its unique position as one of the official partners of 2008 Olympic Games, from May 17th to August 31st, CNC (China Netcom Group) introduced an online sales promotion scheme for subscribers of its 1M, 2M broadband service packages as well as those who pay their yearly service package at one stroke. Subscribers have opportunities to get Olympic tickets if they log onto our website  www.bbn.com.cn and play online games. The system will randomly select and pop up real time information if the winner of an online game will be awarded with an Olympic ticket. Altogether 79 CNC broadband subscribers will have the fortune to get Olympic tickets. What’s more, this sales promotion activity also has 108 second prizes, the winners of which will get a Fuwa (mascot of 2008 Olympic Games) sports bottle of exquisite craftsmanship; and 2008 third prizes, the winners of which will get an Olympic commemorative calling card (limited edition).

It’s reported that CNC Beijing Branch not only launched the large scale online sales promotion activity “Online Gaming for Much Sought-after Tickets”, but also formally introduced a 2M Olympic broadband product on the World Telecom Day, which means that people in Beijing with little money can watch the Games live in 2008.
